What’s more, engineered wood can be used with underfloor heating, which is very appealing to homeowners these days.

Alternatively, you could consider vinyl, lino or tiles that look like wood, which removes the risk of the floor warping or becoming damaged by water.

They are also resistant to fading and scratches, so won’t need to be repaired or replaced as soon.

The reason lots of people love the wooden look in bathrooms at the moment is because it adds a rustic, vintage element and takes the aesthetic away from a clinical feel.
