Outdoor porcelain paving and 20mm slabs

Outdoor porcelain is one of the best surfaces for patios, terraces, garden paths and pool surrounds. The 20mm (2cm) thick slabs are strong enough to lay outside, have a textured anti-slip surface, resist frost and stains, and keep their colour for years with very little maintenance.

Some of our outdoor tiles have a matching indoor version, so you can carry the same floor from your kitchen or living room straight out onto the patio for a seamless indoor-outdoor look.

Check the live stock on each product, order a sample to see the texture, or visit our Watford showroom for advice on laying and quantities.

Frequently asked questions

How thick should outdoor porcelain tiles be?

20mm (2cm) porcelain is the standard for outdoor patios and paths. It is strong enough to be laid on a full mortar bed, and some can be laid on pedestals for terraces.

Is outdoor porcelain slippery when wet?

Our outdoor porcelain has a textured surface designed for grip outside. Check the slip rating on each product page for your area.

Can I match my indoor floor to my patio?

Some designs come in both an indoor version and an outdoor 20mm version with the same look. Ask us which ones, and we will help you plan a floor that flows from inside to outside.
