TOTAL LOOK TILES LTD

  1. OUR COMPANY:
    1. We are Total Look Tiles LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 09998212.
    2. We sell wall and floor tiles along with other associated products such as bathroom fittings, tiling materials, mosaics, tools, and floorings.
    3. Our showroom and distribution centre is located at Total Look Tiles, Unit 1E Sandown road industrial estate, Watford, WD24 7UB.
    4. We offer a delivery service to anywhere in the United Kingdom.

  2. ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND PRICE:
    1. The total cost of your order will be the price of the Goods plus any applicable delivery charge which will be stipulated at the time when you place your order. All prices stipulated are exclusive of VAT.
    2. All invoices are strictly nett, unless otherwise stated, and be settled on collection or before delivery of goods with cleared funds.
    3. All materials supplied by Total Look Tiles Ltd remain the property of Total Look Tiles Ltd until the goods are fully paid for.
    4. Once goods have been reserved for a customer with their confirmation, no cancellations will be accepted, and payment will not be refunded.
    5. All stock items are to be paid for in full at the point of sale.
    6. All special orders for tiles and bathroom fittings are to be paid for in full at the point of sale.
    7. Once a special order for tiles or bathroom fittings will be placed by the customer No cancellations will be accepted.
    8. Special order tiles and Bathroom fittings must be made in person with one of our sales staffs at our premises. We will not hold responsibility for mistakes if the orders are made by phone or email.
    9. While assisting with tiles measurements and bathroom design we cannot be held responsible for final measurements given or bathroom items supplied, due to not being involved in the fitting process or the measurements on site. Any drawings/sketch/information provided by the customer or their fitter whether verbal or written is given as guidance only and we will not take any responsibility for shortages or wrong items ordered.
    10. Please note that all imports of tiles from Europe typically take between 3-6 weeks to arrive. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any delays that may occur during transportation, which is beyond our control. To ensure a smooth and timely installation, we strongly recommend that you order your tiles well in advance of your planned installation date. Please plan accordingly to avoid any potential delays. Please be aware that we cannot accept liability for financial losses resulting from late or incorrect deliveries.
  3. PRODUCT QUALITY / WARRANTY:
    1. The supply of goods does not mean that they are suitable for a specific installation. The Company will not be held responsible for any failure against products supplied. No tiles are guaranteed against crazing. All tiles are susceptible to impact damage, and this is unrelated to the wearing grade. Tiles can wear and must be protected against grit, movement of appliances and items being dropped on the surface. No tiles are guaranteed against chipping or misuse.
    2. Tiles are manufactured from natural products and fired at extreme temperatures of up to 1400ºC. Subtle differences such as the exact moisture content in the clay or even the external weather at the factory can result in minor changes to both the shade and the exact size of the tile between different batches of a tile manufactured at different times. When a batch of tiles are manufactured, they are coded with a shade number and calibre (size) code.
    3. We will endeavour to check all orders are supplied within a single shade and calibre number although it is the responsibility of the installer to complete a final check before fitting the tiles. Tiles with different calibre codes can vary up to 1.2% + or – against the stated work size in both dimensions and curvature. This tolerance is allowable under the European Tile Standard EN-14411. Due to the potential difference in shade & size between different coloured tiles, decors, borders, and tiles made by different manufacturers, it is imperative that your tiles are checked carefully by the fixer for suitability before commencing the job.
    4. If for any reason you are not happy with the shade, pattern, texture, or size of your tiles we would be more than happy to offer an exchange or refund (Delivery & collections costs apply). We cannot though accept any claims for issues with shade, size or other visual characteristics after the tiles have been installed as the fixing of the tiles indicates acceptance of the goods inclusive of their characteristics.
    5. It is the responsibility of the Tiler or Tradesperson to use where possible, goods from a variety of separate boxes to ensure that any batch, colour, shading, and quality variances are minimised.
    6. Any fault, quality or shading issue with the tiles supplied will remain the responsibility of the manufacturer. The Company will accept no responsibility for further or subsequent loss or expense, if the tiles are faulty, or not to the acceptance of the Buyer. Any such issues will be passed to the manufacturers, whereby any claims will become solely the manufacturer’s liability, disclaimers or notes printed on boxes or packaging will become the responsibility of the Buyer to read and accept, prior to use or fixing.
    7. Tile names, images and sizes displayed are nominal and only represent a guide to the actual style, colour, and size of a tile. Variations in texture, shade and size can occur from that which is advertised. Individual monitor setting can also exaggerate the appearance of a colour, as well as the lighting in the chosen room. The Company recommends that a sample is purchased prior to the main order. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that tiles are of an acceptable shade and size, and satisfactory for their situation prior to being laid.
    8. Bathroom fittings, Adhesives, Grouts and Floorings have their own manufacturer guarantee which usually found on the product or their website and is offered and honoured by the product’s manufacturer. The guarantee offered will cover against any manufacturing defects found on the product when it is used in a normal domestic or commercial (only when stated commercial use) application.
    9. Bathroom fittings Serviceable parts are not part of a product’s warranty. In addition, neglect or abuse of products will make null and void any warranty period. In bathroom products that are complemented by a finished surface e.g.  chrome, gold, or any others available the guarantee period will apply to the surface finish, this does not apply to any damage to surface caused by abuse. In the event of a fault developing please contact us, we will then advise what the manufacturer’s procedures are.Manufacturers will ask for the following to have been adhered to:
      • Product was fitted as per the manufacturer’s fitting instructions, No Modifications or misuse, neglect, or mistreatment.
      • You will also require a proof of purchase.
      • You may need to fill in a form within a limited period of time in order to register your guarantee.
    10. In the unlikely event where you purchase goods from us that are found to be defective within the guarantee period, we shall (at our option) repair or replace the product(s) or refund the price of the product(s) supplied. Our entire liability to you shall be limited to the price you paid for the goods, and we shall not be held responsible for anyfitting, plumbing, labour, materials,consequential or other personal financial loss that you may seek to claim for.
  4. WEBSITE CONTENT:
    1. All descriptive text, images, specifications, and other content on our website is for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the customer via our website, over the phone and face to face are approximate and intended as a guide only. We always endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are correct, although advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and any work to be carried out.
    2. We reserve the right to amend the contents of this site including product prices delivery charges and product details without notice. These terms and conditions may also be updated at any time without notice. Use of this site and purchases of products offered for sale here are subject to the terms and conditions posted on the site at the time of your visit. The copyright in all website design, text, graphics, and software belongs to us, our affiliates, and our suppliers. No material from our website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or published in print or digital format for commercial use.
  5. DELIVERIES, COLLECTIONS AND RETURNS:
    1. Most of our deliveries are made on pallets and these will always be delivered “kerbside”. This means your tiles will be left secured to the pallet at the nearest external location to the property which has a flat hard surface leading from the delivery vehicle. Please be aware the delivery is made by a third-party delivery company and the driver will not be able to assist in unloading the pallet or helping to bring the goods inside your property. Some tile boxes weigh in excess of 30kg each and we recommend ensuring you have arranged help on the day of delivery if you need it.
    2. We work closely with our third-party delivery company to provide the best possible delivery service for our customers at a reasonable cost, although please remember they are not fully under our control. We do strongly recommend that you should order your tiles well in advance of your planned installation date and we will not under any circumstance be held liable for financial losses resulting from late or incorrect deliveries.
    3. All our outgoing deliveries are meticulously packed and checked to ensure that you receive the correct goods in perfect condition. However, tiles are fragile and occasionally some can be damaged in transit. Should this occur please let us know as soon as possible within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll get replacements to you ASAP minimising any potential delay to your project. Simply either email us at info@totallooktiles.co.uk including a single image showing the damaged tiles or products. Please give your order a quick visual inspection while the delivery driver is present. Any obvious damages visible from the outside of the pallet must be marked on the delivery paperwork. No responsibility for damaged product, shortages or incorrect products can be accepted after 48 hours from receipt of goods.
    4. Whilst every effort is made to have deliveries and supply on time, kindly note that we are sometimes subjects to delays by manufacturers production times and dates which can change, we will notify you for any delays as soon as we know, and you can decide if you would like to wait or to cancel your order. Total Look Tiles LTD will not beheld responsible for anyfitting, plumbing, labour, materials,consequential or other personal financial loss that you may seek to claim for the delay.
    5. All our collection orders from our warehouse are meticulously checked and prepared to ensure that you receive the correct goods in perfect condition. Please check the items carefully before leaving our premises.The Company will accept no responsibility for any damages reported after.
    6. Total Look Tiles Ltd will only hold customers’ orders for a maximum of 14 days from arriving to our warehouse. Any additional days will incur storage costs.
    7. All collections must be notified 24 hours in advance.
    8. Deliveries and collections are on Monday – Friday only.
    9. Adhesives, grouts, silicones, and other tiling materials will not be taken back under any conditions.
    10. We may accept returns of tiles, subject to a 25% handling charge within 14 days from the point of sale. We will only accept full boxes in good saleable condition and must be subject to shades of returned goods being the same as current stocks and batch number in the warehouse.
    11. Special order tiles, bathroom fittings, floorings and tools will not be taken back under any conditions.
